Linux User LigLog File encryption / unpacking with GPG
Probably targets in your Linux distribution GPG already installed. Then, at the command line as a text file with one sentence: $ mkdir test $ cd test $ echo "This is some text to verleutelen"> VersleutelMij.txt ls
With this command you encrypt the text. There is a window open to ask the versleutelingszin; you have to enter it twice to be sure you know what you have entered. Then you see that there is a file with added:
ps: Also works on Mac OS X with GPGTools. For an attachment packed with this type of encryption, the recipient must obviously know the key. If you then put in the email itself, the whole course, has little sense. The password you have to meet in person, not by another communication channel. If such a mail several times and / or need with various targets contacts, go anyway rather to work with public / private targets keys.
