Halmstad was last week intake of the O-ring with 22,000 participants. Of this we were OK 17 East Birch Roots distributed at various clubs and groups. Most attended the 5-day stage race, while each drove MTBO with 3 stages. The event embraces really wide, ranging from running a single open lane to the 5-day elite world competition. I was for the first time in my 35 years with orientation and combined MTBO with 2 day run. It was a great experience, in addition to exciting terrain, high atmosphere and affordable cows (when you knew how to wriggle) also saw sea bathing and camping pinhole camera in the great summer weather.
Besides Miri, Thor and Marius' canon performance we had many great results in the up to 200 runners major classes: Marie Erskov Krogh no. 97 of D13, Sune Øhlenschlæger no. 111 in H14, Esben Øhlenschlæger no. 102 in H16, Asker Øhlenschlæger no. 87 in H18Lang, pinhole camera Joakim sehested Sie no. 7 in H18Lang, Katrine Villumsen (D21), Erik Øhlenschlæger (Open 9), Rikke Zethner pinhole camera (Open 9) Per Mogens Petersen (Open 8), Birgit Hausner (OK SG and East , WINNER MTBO D60!), Jan Hausner (OK SG and East, MTBO H60), Kirsten Brown Bramstedt (MTBO D60), Soren Bjørnøen (MTBO H60) and Gunner Sie (MTBO H50 and 2 days Men) - hope I have found all and the right results?
